How best to review a journal of poetry? How it touches the senses, draws you in, and doesn’t let you go. “The Reverie” is multi-layered, romantic, exquisite, dark, brooding, and sometimes painful. It is filled with poems that tell stories of childhood memories, romantic relationships, and scarred experiences. It was perfection. It was perfectly imperfect; a fantastic ride–and one I highly recommend to poets and writers who need to escape the daily grind, who want to be moved, who want to be touched by words, beautiful, haunting, lush words.
I’m looking forward to the next one.
