I found this quote the other day and it made me wonder. Can everything the writer creates, be traced back to the writer? Is there a way to write that is entirely outside of self? Or is the nature of the beast that we must write about our lives in some way or another, even if it’s not terribly obvious to the reader? Have you written a poem, character, story, etc that you were able to say you couldn’t find a shred of yourself in it? And if so, was the quality of the piece to par with your other works?

No, there is no piece of writing that didn’t contain a piece of me. Unless I wrote it for a class! Even then it probably did.

My writings throws my readers in the labyrinth of my secrets, enshrouding them within its tainted mists. Each one discovers a path, none deciphers the whole enigmatic map, most search for the nearest exit before touching the core of it all. My writtings also project a mirror of my readers own secrets into plain sight, making them afraid of their own selves. All are actors, directors, and members of staff within the playful acts but none of them are witnesses… as nobody likes a witness! >:-) 😉
